Tonight, the Knicks will face off against the Warriors in the first game of a three-game road trip. After facing the Warriors, the Knicks will play the Lakers and Kings.
Stephen Curry will likely sit, but will ultimately be a game time decision, due to re-aggravating his surgically repaired right ankle.
However, even without Curry, the Warriors are a dangerous team. Expect guard Monta Ellis to step up in Curry’s possible hiatus.
The Knicks will need to have their defense and rebound on point tonight, because they cannot afford to allow Golden State get second chance points. The Warriors are used to scoring 100+ points on a nightly basis, so if Tyson Chandler and the Knicks can hold them under that benchmark, the Knicks will better their chances of winning the game.
