Knicks Clinch Playoff Birth For Second Straight Year

With the Bucks’ loss to the Indiana Pacers tonight, the Knicks have clinched a playoff birth for the second consecutive year.

So, even though four games remain before the season officially concludes, no matter the outcome of those games, the Knicks will be playing playoff basketball. Mathematically, the Knicks could still end up with the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th seed, and with the recent new coming out of Orlando, who knows what’s going to happen to the Magic. Could they lose out? Definitely. Could they win for Dwight? Definitely. One things for sure: The 6th seed is still in play.

We’re down to four games. After those four games are up, we’ll know exactly where the Knicks sit and who they’ll face off against in the first round. But for now, just be happy that we’re in!
