Carmelo Anthony Sets An Olympic Record

Tonight, in a blowout win against Nigeria, Carmelo Anthony set two olympic records. First, he set the single-game scoring record for United States basketball, with 37 points, and he also set the single-game three-point record with 10 threes. Previously, Stephon Marbury held both of these records, with 31 points and 6 threes.

Melo finished the game with 37 points, on 13-16 shooting, including 10-12 from three, and collected four rebounds, in… 14 minutes of play. Yes. Fourteen minutes.
