Well, despite being behind throughout, the New York Knicks were able to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves by three, 94-91, and improved to 20-7 on the year. They finished their six-game home stand with four wins, and will head to Los Angeles, Phoenix and then Sacramento, before returning back home.
With the holidays here, I’m swamped, so not going to put up a conventional recap tonight. All you need to know is this: Carmelo Anthony is really, really good, and without him, the Knicks would have lost the game. Melo beat the Timberwolves in the fourth quarter 19-18, and Raymond Felton threw in four points to give the Knicks the win.
The Knicks are the first team in the Eastern Conference to get to 20 wins, and will now hit the road.
