Recap (IN GIFs): Knicks 99, Suns 97
“This has turned into an exciting game.” – Mike Breen. “Unfortunately.” – Clyde Frazier.
Despite leading by 14 points, the Knicks allowed the Suns to creep back into the game, setting up for an exciting finish. In the end, the Knicks improved to 21-8, and did it short-handed. Melo sat out with a hyper-extended knee, Felton missed the game with what we later found out to be a fractured pinky finger, and Amare Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert continued to sit.

After that, he had me asking:

Well, tie game, but the Suns had 10 seconds to get a shot off. What ensued?
JASON KIDD’S PESKY 39-YEAR-OLD HANDS DEFLECTED THE BALL! THEN TELFAIR TURNED IT OVER!
Tie game, one second left. No Melo, no Felton… It’s JR’s shot. Can he do it twice in one month?
YES HE CAN!
YES HE IS! RT @theknickswall: J.R. is the best bad-shot maker in the league, right?
