The Knicks lost a heartbreaker to the Pacers, 112-104, as they had an eight-point lead at the half, and a 15-point advantage going into the fourth, but they were not able to play with as much fire and desire in the final quarter.

Carmelo Anthony (16 points, seven assists, two rebounds and a +15) played one of his best all around games of the season, while deservedly hearing a mix of boos and cheers during the 121-79 victory for the Knicks. They played tenacious defense and have not scored in the 120s this season.

The Knicks lost to the Celtics, 115-111, in overtime, in a game they definitely could have won. New York is now one game below .500 and has not defeated the Celtics in Boston since Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson and David Lee were all on the team.
