It’s starting to feel like a regular season! At 7PM, the NBA released a 66-game schedule for each team. Here are some tidbits about the Knicks’ schedule. As previously reported, the Knicks will kick off the NBA season against the Boston Celtics, at Madison Square Garden.
As we head into the upcoming free-agency period, and season, with Glen Grunwald as the Knicks’ general manager, let’s take a minute to appreciate everything Donnie Walsh did for the Knicks, and show how important smart roster management is.
The Miami Heat drafted Kurt Thomas, the 6’9 F/C, in 1995. He is currently the NBA’s oldest active player at 39 years old. Throughout his career, Thomas has played for eight different NBA teams, but his longest stretch with one team was from the ’98-’99 season through the ’04-’05 season, with the New York Knicks.
Well, it wasn’t quite a “nuclear winter”, but we got pretty close. To be fair, the CBA has not officially been signed, but we currently have a tentative agreement between both parties that is expected to be passed.
