Today, Mike Bibby was officially signed to a one-year deal, valued at the veteran’s minimum of $1.4 million by the New York Knicks.
The deal was not met with great optimism nor celebration from Knicks fans; actually, quite the contrary. Many fans, myself included, believe Mike Bibby is too old to be playing at the NBA level. His legs are shot. He can’t even keep up with Eddy Curry. But, luckily, he can still shoot.
Late last night, things started to heat up on the Knicks’ free-agency front. A bunch of things have circulated, so let’s take a second to look at what’s out there.
According to David Aldridge, the Knicks have offered J.J. Barea a two year deal using the new “room” exception, valued at $2,500,000 a year.
