After last night’s exhibition against the Wizards, the Knicks record improved to 31-28. A Sixers (31-28) loss moved the Knicks back into seventh in the Eastern Conference and an Orlando (34-25) loss left the ‘Bockers three games behind for the sixth seed. They remain two games ahead of the Bucks, who defeated the Pistons last night. Let’s take a look at the three “other” teams the Knicks are fighting for a playoff spot.
The Buck Stops with Knicks Winning in Milwaukee

In a game that for sure left fans at the edge of their seats, biting off their nails, screaming at their TVs and gasping for air, the Knicks pulled out a huge win over the Bucks in Milwaukee, 111-107. Carmelo Anthony continued his hot streak, leading New York with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Monta Ellis had his best game as a Buck, scoring 35 points and filling the stat sheet with 10 assists, six rebounds and four steals.

The Knicks were not able to beat the best team in the league for a second game in a row as they lost to the Bulls, 98-86, and now only have a one game lead over the Bucks for eighth place. They play the Bucks tonight in Milwaukee.
Knicks Push Injury Woes Aside To Beat Bucks
The Knicks gave themselves some extra cushion in the Eastern Conference playoff race Monday night, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden, 89-80. Carmelo Anthony shook off his recent shooting woes to lead New York with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Mike Dunleavy came off the bench to lead the Bucks with 26 points.
Knicks’ Nightmare Road Trip Ends With Loss to Bucks
A week that was seen as a barometer for the Knicks has finally come to an end with the team losing all four games. The latest loss was a 119-114 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, who now sit just two games behind the Knicks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Amar’e Stoudemire led New York with 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Compton native Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 25 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.
