No more paying attention to Bucks, Sixers and Magic games. No more trying to figure out who the first round opponent will be. The playoffs have arrived and the team the Knicks hoped to model when they first signed Amar’e Stoudemire in 2010 is the opponent: The Miami Heat.
Even though the Heat were 3-8 in their last 11 road games, the Knicks defense could not contain Dwayne Wade or LeBron James, as they lost 93-85 to the Heat. Wade and James combined for 57 of the Heat’s 93 points.
Tonight the New York Knicks will face off against the Miami Heat. This is the first game that the Knicks have Carmelo Anthony against the superstar trio in Miami. Anthony gives the Knicks another lights-out scorer, but will he and Amar’e Stoudemire be enough to overcome Miami’s LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh?
