In a possible preview of a first round playoff series, the Knicks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden last night by a score of 96-86. The Knicks entered the game second in the Eastern Conference while the Bucks entered seventh in the conference standings. The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony’s 25-point, eight rebound, six assist performance. The Bucks were led by Ersan Ilyasova, who stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.

After a stressful and emotional week in New York City due to the damage left behind by Hurricane Sandy, the city was in need of a huge pick-me-up. The Knicks were more than happy to abide. In front of an emotional crowd in Madison Square Garden, the Knicks defeated the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat by a score of 104-84. It was the home and season opener for the Knicks, after what was supposed to be their first game agains the Brooklyn Nets Thursday night was postponed. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 30 points and 10 rebounds while the Heat were led by LeBron James’ 23 points along with seven rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

The season that began with a Lockout ended with the Knicks falling to some lock-down defense from the Miami Heat.
The rollar-coaster season the Knicks have endured finally came to an end tonight in a 106-94 loss to the Heat in Game 5 of their first round playoff series. Carmelo Anthony led New York with 35 points and eight rebounds. The Heat were led by LeBron James’ near triple-double of 29 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
It’s Not Over Yet! Knicks Avoid Sweep With Game Four Win
It’s about damn time.
After more than 11 years since their last playoff game victory, the Knicks salvaged their season at least for another game, avoiding a sweep at the hands of the Miami Heat with an 89-87 win today at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 41 points and six rebounds while the Heat were led by LeBron James’ 27 points.
Knicks Still Can’t Handle the Heat, Lose Game 2

The Knicks showed more life than they did on Saturday, but it still wasn’t enough. The Miami Heat defeated the Knicks Monday night, 104-94, to take a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference First Round series. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 30 points and nine rebounds. Dwayne Wade – who ran laps around Landry Fields – took over the leading role for the Heat, scoring 25 points while LeBron James just missed a triple double (19 points, nine assists, seven rebounds).

Already going into the game with news that defensive stalwart Tyson Chandler might not be at 100% due to the flu, the Knicks were completely massacred by the Miami Heat in Game 1 of their Easter Conference Round 1 series, 100-67. LeFlop James led the Heat with 32 points and four steals. New York was “led” by J.R. Smith’s 17 points off the bench.
