Carmelo Anthony Sets An Olympic Record
Tonight, in a blowout win against Nigeria, Carmelo Anthony set two olympic records. First, he set the single-game scoring record for United States basketball, with 37 points, and he also set the single-game three-point record with 10 threes. Previously, Stephon Marbury held both of these records, with 31 points and 6 threes.

Tonight, at 9PM EST, the Men’s Olympic Team will take on the Dominican Republic in an exhibition match. This will be the first time we see Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony – two of the Knicks’ big three – put on their countries colors in a mission for a gold medal in London.
