Knicks Bounce-Back With A 21-Point Victory
After a 17-point loss in Toronto last night, the Knicks bounced back with a 21-point victory over the Pistons tonight, at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks were pretty sloppy tonight, but thanks to some solid shooting, from both the field and the free-throw line, the Knicks were able to cruise to a double-digit victory. They amassed 22 turnovers, but managed to limit the Pistons to 25 points off those turnovers, while the Knicks scored 22 points off the Pistons’ 17 turnovers.
New York Knicks @ Detroit Pistons – November 5th, 1999.
Due to the current lockout, instead of watching the first full season with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire on the Knicks, we are left to imagine what could have been. Many, including myself, have anticipated this season to be one of the Knicks’ more successful years in more than a decade.
