The 2018–19 Knicks season is officially the worst in recent memory as voted by The Knicks Wall readers and audience.

It’s official: the 2018–19 Knicks are the worst team in the modern era. While the dysfunction and disappointment of the 2o16–17 Knicks put up a good fight, in the end they were just outgunned. The fewest wins in franchise history, the as-of-now one-sided trade for Kristaps Porzingis, the stinkiness of Emmanuel Mudiay were just too much for any team with Carmelo Anthony and Mindaugas Kuzminskas’ sunny smile.

Maybe it can be some small comfort that the most recent season didn’t even make it out of the first round of competition. If there’s one thing this tournament made abundantly clear, it’s that the past few years have been some of the most painful in recent memory. Who knows, maybe the Knicks are due for some good luck…though I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Instead, I’ll just watch this video and think back on simpler times.
