Feeling nostalgic on New Year’s Day, here’s a compilation of Kristaps Porzingis’ buckets on his career night against the Pacers in fall 2017.

Kristaps Porzingis notched his career-best scoring night against Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Pacers on November 5, 2017.

Porzingis led the team to a dramatic comeback victory at Madison Square Garden. With the Garden faithful cheering, KP’s 40 points and six blocks were the cheerleading necessary to give New York a spirited push and propel them toward victory.

Interestingly, Frank Ntilikina played a key role off the bench for the Knicks. Starting that night for New York, Jarrett Jack was ineffectual against Indiana, so then-coach Jeff Hornacek unleashed rookie Frank Ntilikina, the eighth overall pick from the year’s draft. Ntilikina proceeded to play tough defense against the Pacers, score 10 points, dish out seven assists, and poke three balls loose while playing key minutes down the stretch of the narrow game.

Porzingis, meanwhile, mounted his All-Star campaign with constant shots falling in against the helpless Pacers defense. Jumping high up above Evan Turner and defenders, practically nobody could
